Job summary

COLSA is seeking an Operations Security (OPSEC) Planner (Temp) to provide analytical and advisory support to the Marine Corps OPSEC Team (MOST). On-site in Quantico, VA, with periodic travel, the position supports doctrine, policies, and processes to facilitate the Marine Corps OPSEC mission.

The role includes conducting OPSEC assessments, developing a systems engineering approach for MOST, coordinating with DoD and Joint Staff, and assisting with MILDEC and SIGMAN initiatives.

Qualifications

• US citizenship and active TS/SCI clearance or eligibility within 2 years
• Formal OPSEC training from US Army, Navy, Air Force, or Marine Corps
• Ability to travel up to 1-2 weeks per quarter

Responsibilities

• Participate in OPSEC assessments and surveys for CONUS/OCONUS commands and provide non-distortionary services to findings and reports
• Support the development of a systems engineering approach for MOST and supporting processes
• Coordinate with Deputy Commandant, Plans, Policies and Operations to ensure OPSEC policy meets DoD/JCS requirements
• Assist the Service Enterprise with OPSEC adherence across the organization
• Support MILDEC and SIGMAN initiatives and OPSEC integration into military operations
