Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in engineering, chemistry, or equivalent.
• 5+ years of manufacturing operations management experience preferred.
• Experience with LEAN or Six Sigma.
• Ability to flex schedule for batches when customer impact is involved.

Responsibilities

• Own process quality and incident investigations with root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Manage a team of 20-25 across 24/7 shifts: engineers, a small lab, and scheduling staff.
• Deliver year-over-year improvements in non-conforming product and formulation optimization.
• Collaborate with technical/process engineering and production teams to match output to standards and set criteria for bad actors.
• Develop and implement long-term strategies for quality/cost improvement.
• Partner with Maintenance/Engineering for all expense and capital work to maintain operations.
• Analyze data to generate inventive improvements and execute swiftly with minimal oversight.
