Job summary

Jackson is seeking a Strategic Support Associate to join our Strategic Support Program. The SSA will support the Operations Process Engineering team by mapping workflows, collecting and analyzing data, and assisting with process-improvement initiatives and cross-functional projects.

Sophomores, juniors, or seniors in a STEM four-year degree are strongly preferred. Shifts run 8:00am–6:00pm, Monday–Friday, with a weekly commitment of 18 to 29 hours and each shift segment at least 3 hours.

Qualifications

• Sophomores, juniors or seniors in a STEM 4‑year degree program strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma preferred.
• Experience with process documentation tools/software preferred.
• Experience with automation software (e.g., Robotic Process Automation, Power Automate) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in mapping and documenting existing Operations processes.
• Collect, organize, and analyze production and operational data to identify trends.
• Support implementation of process improvement initiatives and strategic projects.
• Participate in root cause analysis and troubleshoot process issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to aid in documentation and project implementation.
• Contribute to development and updating of SOPs and work instructions.
• Maintain accurate records of project activities and findings.
• Assist with other engineering tasks and projects as assigned.
