Job summary

Cardinal Health offers a Summer Internship Program in Roanoke, Texas, designed for undergraduates entering their senior year. You will engage in meaningful projects, work with leaders, and gain exposure to healthcare operations while developing leadership and professional skills.

The program includes mentoring, workshops, and networking events, with opportunities to interview for full-time roles after successful completion. Start dates in May 2027, approximately 40 hours/week for 10 weeks.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Expected graduation December 2027 to June 2028.
• Knowledge of supply chain concepts and improvement techniques.

Responsibilities

• Partner with site leaders to identify and implement new or improved processes.
• Document and present solutions to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Develop, measure, and maintain performance and productivity.
• Assist and collaborate with warehouse leaders across receiving, picking, packing, shipping, and storage.
• Analyze KPI data and participate in Kaizen and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Work daily on the warehouse floor to observe and improve operations.
