Job summary

Belden invites current students to join its US Internship Program, a 12-week experience focused on Operations and Supply Chain. You’ll work on real business projects, partner with experienced managers, and deliver tangible results while developing project management and data-analysis skills.

As part of the 2027 US Internship Program, you’ll join a global team, engage in rotational assignments in Carmel, IN and other locations, and gain exposure to Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s program in a related field (Supply Chain, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering).
• Experience in project management, supply chain, and cross-functional collaboration with exposure to data analytics, Lean, Six Sigma, or structured problem solving.
• Strong analytical, communication, and collaboration abilities; high learning agility and curiosity; initiative and accountability.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate internal supply chain processes and seek opportunities for improvement.
• Coordinate with vendors to identify areas of opportunity and drive actions.
• Review manufacturing processes and help develop standardized processes or improved systems.
• Identify disruptions in supply chain and strategic sourcing; quantify impact and propose action plans.

Operations

is the function that keeps Belden's promises to its customers. Spanning global manufacturing, supply chain, procurement, quality, and logistics, this team ensures that products are delivered on time, at cost, and to the highest standards.

Operations and Supply Chain Internship roles provide the opportunity to work out of locations including Carmel, IN; Richmond, IN; Tucson, AZ.

How you can add value within the Operations function:

• Conduct internal evaluation of supply chain processes and procedures and work to identify areas or methods for continued improvement
• Communicate with existing or potential vendors to identify areas of opportunity
• Review and complete manufacturing processes and assist in development of standardized processes or improved systems
• Identify supply chain and strategic sourcing disruptions and areas of opportunity, calculate financial impact and propose improvement action plan

Successful Operation & Supply Chain Intern Program candidates will offer:

• Current enrollment with pursuit of bachelor's or master's degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or related field of study
• Related project or work experience in project management, supply chain, cross-functional collaboration with exposure to data analytics, Lean Methodologies, Six Sigma, and/or structured problem solving
• Strong analytical, communication, and collaboration abilities
• High learning agility and intellectual curiosityalong with initiative, accountability, and a bias for action
• Willingness to relocate for rotational assignments, authorization to work in the country of employment
