Job summary

Amgen in New Albany, OH is seeking a Grad Intern in Operations for approximately 13 weeks during Summer 2027. The intern will contribute to cross-functional projects across Supply Chain, Process Development, Quality, Manufacturing, and Facilities & Engineering, delivering recommendations to senior leadership.

You will develop a project charter, analyze the current state, and present findings in forums including an intern-wide poster session and an executive readout.

Qualifications

• Basic Qualifications: 18 years or older; Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university; Currently enrolled in an MBA program for an MBA internship OR a Master’s program for a Master’s internship OR a PharmD program for a PharmD internship OR Ph.D. for a PhD internship from an accredited college or university and completion of the first year of MBA OR Master’s OR Pharm D OR Ph.D. program before the internship starts.

Responsibilities

• Develop a project charter to map out objectives, identify key stakeholders, timelines, and deliverables.
• Leverage analytical, leadership, and interpersonal skills to work cross-functionally, identify problems, measure current state, develop recommendations, and present findings to executives.
• Network with colleagues across the company through Amgen’s Employee Resource Groups Program.
• Support cross-functional projects and professional development activities during the program.
