Job summary

IBC Group is seeking a senior technical operations leader in the United States, Lebanon NH area, to guide engineering, production, quality, and business development. You will oversee thermal spray applications, component repair, and process improvement with a focus on compliance and profitability.

The role requires 5–10 years in thermal spray tech, strong project management, and leadership capabilities. A bachelor’s degree in a related field is mandatory, with extensive experience in CAD and MS

Qualifications

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Bachelor’s degree in materials science, metallurgy, mechanical engineering, mechanical engineering technology, or industrial engineering.
• 5–10 years of hands-on or supervisory experience in thermal spray coating technologies (HVOF, Plasma, Flame, Arc) and component repair.
• 5–10 years of operations management experience, preferably leading a standalone business unit.
• Minimum 5–10 years of direct project management experience.
• Demonstrated leadership and excellent communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong math and process parameter development capabilities.
• SolidWorks or equivalent 3-D modeling software experience required.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to write professional-level, highly technical reports.
• Experience in industrial R&D or government contract work.
• Familiarity with ITAR/EAR and secure data handling.
• Pre-employment background and drug screening are required.

Responsibilities

• Strategically execute company goals and objectives.
• Provide technical and operational leadership across engineering, production, quality, and business development.
• Coordinate projects, plan technical activities, and ensure successful execution.
• Evaluate RFQs, contracts, and customer requests for technical fit and costing.
• Build and maintain relationships with customers and sponsors.
• Align production planning with technical requirements and daily operations.
• Monitor P&L, backlog, and pipeline for profitability and sustainability.
• Assist budgeting, forecasting, bids, contracts, and staffing decisions.
• Support procurement of capital equipment and technical resources.
• Review technical work and methodologies for accuracy and compliance.
• Lead knowledge codification into SOPs and repeatable shop-floor processes.
• Oversee subsurface and finishing operations for precision tolerances.
• Assist in hiring, training, and performance reviews.
