Position Overview

This role is responsible for scheduling and resource management for T-0 through T-5 for both planned and contractor work, including all PES and failed equipment tasks. The position involves coordinating with customers to communicate plans and expectations, requiring a solid understanding of electrical distribution systems and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities
  • Manage scheduling for T-0 through T-5 for all work types.
  • Schedule all failed equipment work.
  • Communicate plans and expectations with customers regarding PES work.
  • Track contractor job statuses within T-5, adjust schedules, and coordinate with the Long-Range Planner.
  • Determine resource allocation between PL and contractor crews for short-term tasks.
  • Schedule low tension network (LTN) jobs and maintenance through T-5.
  • Lead weekly work plan meetings to communicate priorities and status updates to foremen and planning coordinators.
  • Coordinate with contractors and planning staff to ensure understanding of weekly priorities.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned and adhere to policies and standards.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in engineering, construction, operations, customer service, or design.
  • Experience with corporate software systems.
  • Valid PA Driver's License.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Two-year technical degree or four-year degree in business or planning.
  • At least two years of experience in management or job planning.
  • Knowledge of resource management, scheduling tools, and reporting systems.
  • Understanding of collective bargaining agreements.
  • Minimum of two years' field operations experience.
