Job summary

CrossReach, a long-standing Scottish social care provider, is seeking a Relief Cook to cover across services, ensuring residents receive nutritious meals and enjoyable dining experiences when support is needed.

You will prepare meals, cater for dietary needs, maintain high food hygiene, support menus and stock control, and collaborate with colleagues. A Food Hygiene qualification is essential, with an advantage for a professional catering qualification.

Job description

As a Relief Cook, you'll provide essential cover across the service, helping ensure residents continue to receive nutritious meals and excellent dining experiences whenever support is needed.

From preparing home-cooked favourites to catering for specialist dietary requirements, you'll play an important role in supporting residents' health, wellbeing and enjoyment.

What You Will Do

About You

You will have previous experience in a catering, hospitality or kitchen role and be confident preparing meals for larger groups. You'll be flexible, organised and committed to maintaining high standards of food quality and safety. A Food Hygiene qualification is essential. A professional catering qualification would be advantageous.
