Job summary

Nordson seeks a Continuous Improvement & Operations Analytics Specialist II to lead deployment of improvement projects across the ICS organization. You will drive data analytics, develop Power BI dashboards, and automate reporting to support data-driven decisions.

In this role you will coach teams in CI fundamentals, manage data pipelines, and collaborate with operations, engineering, supply chain, and IT to standardize KPIs and reporting. Strong communication and change leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, operations, information systems, data analytics, supply chain, or related field; equivalent experience considered.
• 3-7 years in Continuous Improvement, Operations Excellence, Manufacturing Analytics, BI, or related disciplines.
• Demonstrated experience developing Power BI dashboards, data visualizations, data models, and reporting solutions.
• Experience analyzing operational performance data and utilizing analytics to drive business improvements.
• Lean thinking with application in both operational and transactional environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead deployment of CI projects aligned with NBS Next initiatives.
• Compile data, manage databases, ensure data integrity, build reports, and drive continuous improvement of information metrics.
• Serve as the technical lead for KPI visualization, dashboard deployment, and performance reporting.
• Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, data models, and automated reporting solutions.
• Analyze operational, manufacturing, and business performance data to identify trends, risks, root causes, and improvement opportunities.
• Develop predictive analytics and performance forecasting tools to support proactive business decision making.
• Lead implementation of automation solutions that reduce manual effort and improve data accuracy.
• Help define and execute CI initiatives supporting short and long-term business objectives.
• Support standardization and best-practice sharing across the IC S business.
• Lead CI initiatives and problem-solving projects with cross-functional teams to improve SQDIPC.
• Partner with Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality, Finance, and IT to establish meaningful metrics and reporting standards.
• Maintain project pipelines supporting divisional strategic initiatives.
• Present analytical findings and improvement recommendations to leadership.
