Job summary

Padmore Global Connections LLC seeks an Opioids Chemist Contractor to perform sample preparation and analysis for opioids, antibiotics, and other contaminants in human specimens and wastewater using LC-MS/MS and LC-QTOF.

The contractor will work in a laboratory setting in Indiana, adhering to QA standards, maintaining instrumentation, preparing technical reports, and updating SOPs. Requires a bachelor’s in chemical/physical science and at least two years of analytical chemistry experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in chemical or physical science from an accredited college or university.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as an analytical chemist.
• Proficiency with LC-MS/MS and GC/MS/MS instrumentation.
• Maintains QA and GLP/GALP practices; prepares reports and SOPs.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze samples for opioids and related substances in blood, urine, serum, and wastewater.
• Operate complex instruments (LC-MS/MS, LC-QTOF, GC/MS/MS) and maintain equipment.
• Maintain instrument logs, write technical reports, and update SOPs.
• Train and cross-train staff on analytical methods and procedures.
• Assist supervisor with related tasks and may provide expert testimony as needed.
