Qualifications

• Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) with a passion for patient care.
• Strong communication with clients and teamwork.
• Comfort with anesthesia monitoring equipment and ophthalmology procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist in ophthalmology appointments, coordinating procedures, and patient care.
• Take histories, vital signs, and weights.
• Perform in-hospital lab work and prepare specimens for outside labs.
• Perform diagnostic ophthalmic testing (ERG, ocular ultrasonography) and assist with sedated procedures.
• Assist board-certified ophthalmologist with anesthesia and postoperative care.
