Job summary

US Eye, a physician-led ophthalmology network, seeks a skilled RCM Support Services Specialist to ensure transparent and accurate patient billing experiences. You will assist billing inquiries, review claims, verify authorizations, and provide real-time cost estimates for procedures.

The ideal candidate has ophthalmology billing knowledge, strong CPT/ICD-10 familiarity, and a patient-centered communication style.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; associate degree or medical billing certification preferred.
• Minimum 2–3 years of ophthalmology or retina billing experience.
• Strong CPT/ICD-10 coding knowledge for ophthalmology services.

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to patient billing inquiries and provide real-time cost estimates.
• Review and update claims; identify and resolve charge posting or payment errors.
• Verify authorizations and ensure financial clearance before procedures.
• Collaborate with billing, coding, and clinical teams to resolve denials.
• Document communications in the EHR/billing system and escalate as needed.
