Job Overview

The New England Eye Center (NEEC) in Boston, MA, is seeking a full-time Comprehensive Ophthalmologist to join our department. NEEC is part of Tufts Medical Center (TMC), the principal teaching hospital of Tufts University School of Medicine (TUSM). TMC is part of the Tufts Medicine health system, providing care across Massachusetts and New England.

This faculty position offers a blend of academic and private practice. The selected candidate will see patients at TMC, teach residents and medical students, engage in research, and provide care at satellite locations. The Comprehensive division is busy, allowing new faculty to quickly build their desired patient volume.

Qualifications

• Board certified or eligible in Ophthalmology
• Enthusiastic about building a clinical practice
• Committed to resident and fellow education
• Interest in basic or clinical research
• Interest in retinopathy of prematurity care is a plus
• Ability to obtain a Massachusetts medical license
