Ophthalmology Physician Job with Essentia Health in Fargo, ND

Join a well-established, diverse, and collegial practice of ophthalmologists and optometrists in Fargo, ND. This full-time position offers a balanced schedule with four clinic days and one operating room day per week, utilizing state-of-the-art technology including Optos with FA & ICG, Lenstar, OCT & OCT-A, VF, topography, a 3D Artevo operating microscope, and Centurion phaco system.

Responsibilities include managing a broad range of ophthalmologic cases, participating in a shared call schedule (1:10), and engaging in future outreach opportunities if desired. The practice provides a relocation and benefits package, a competitive salary with a starting bonus, dedicated CME benefits, and malpractice insurance.

Requirements

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Ophthalmology.

Location

Centrally located on the border of North Dakota and Minnesota, approximately 3.5 hours northwest of Minneapolis/St. Paul. Fargo-Moorhead has a population of 225,000 and a regional service area comprising 25 clinics and five hospitals.

Compensation

Starting at $452,000, with potential bonuses, quality incentives, or production-based compensation.
