Job summary

Qualifications

• Requires ophthalmology experience.
• Masters degree in PA program.
• California PA license required.
• NCCPA certification required.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• NPI and DEA numbers.
• PECOS and CURE enrollment required.
• Proficient in Excel and Word.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients in ER and inpatient consult settings.
• Take comprehensive histories, perform ophthalmic exams.
• Assist in assessment/management of ophthalmology consults from ER, OR, and inpatient units.
• Provide outpatient follow-up and continuity of care.
• Collaborate with ophthalmology residents, fellows, and attendings.
• Potential travel to Santa Monica Hospital and UCLA Ronald Reagan Medical Center Westwood.
