We are a nonprofit community hospital system with over 1,700 beds across 15 full-service hospital campuses and over 2,000 medical staff. Our well-established Ophthalmology practice in Fogelsville is hiring a BE/BC Retina Surgical Specialist to deliver personalized, state-of-the-art care for our patients.

In a Retina Surgical Specialist career with LVHN, you will:

1. Collaborate with a team of Ophthalmologists, Optometrists, Opticians, and Certified Ophthalmic Assistants to provide dedicated team-based care.
2. Join a well-established, high-volume practice with strong referral networks.
3. Provide clinical and surgical care for patients with retina diseases, including intravitreal injections, vitreoretinal surgeries, and ROP (Retinopathy of Prematurity) services.
4. Operate in a fully equipped office with advanced equipment such as Cirrus OCT with Angio, Wide-field Zeiss fundus camera, and Argon laser. The office includes a full-service optical shop with contact lens services and a dedicated Medspa room offering limited aesthetic services.
5. Perform surgeries at an Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) and hospital settings when general anesthesia is required.
6. Educational stipends are available for graduating fellows.
