Job summary

EyeCare Partners is seeking a Patient Coordinator in Des Peres, MO. This is a full-time, long-term position at Ophthalmology Associates, with travel to nearby clinics as needed. The role focuses on first contact with patients and handling administrative duties to ensure smooth check-in/out experiences.

The candidate should have a high school diploma or GED, strong communication skills, and willingness to learn. Weekend coverage may be required in a busy ophthalmology practice environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum required: High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum required: One year of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service during every patient encounter (in person or via phone).
• Answer phones (both external and internal); assure prompt, courteous service at all times.
• Practice urgency at all times with patients’ time, as well as Doctor’s time and schedule.
• Manage patient flow in the office.
• Knowledge of common fees charged for common visits and collect correct payments.
• Complete daily reconciliations / close day / countdown cash drawer.
