Job summary

American Vision Partners is seeking an Ophthalmology RN to join our team. In this role, you will provide a safe and efficient environment for patients during their perioperative phases in our Ambulatory Surgical Center.

The ideal candidate should possess an Associate's degree, hold a current RN License, and be detail-oriented with excellent communication skills. We offer competitive benefits, including medical and dental insurance, 401(k), and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Current RN License.
• 1-year Ophthalmology experience as a Surgery RN is a plus.
• ASC experience preferred.
• Bilingual preferred.
• Detail oriented, reliable and able to multi-task in a fast-paced, high-volume work environment.

Responsibilities

• Greets and admits patients to the pre-/post-operative area.
• Assesses, plans, implements and evaluates patient care.
• Prepares operating suite for patients.
• Assists Anesthesia Provider and Surgeon during procedures.
• Maintains accurate records of patients’ surgical experience.
• Starts IVs and gives medications per physician protocols.
