Job summary

The University of Cincinnati College of Medicine, Department of Ophthalmology, invites applications for an academic Assistant/Associate Professor in a non-tenure track. The successful candidate will perform clinical duties in Ophthalmology within the residency program and contribute to teaching and research.

Requirements include MD/DO, completion of an accredited Ophthalmology residency, Ohio medical licensure, and board eligibility.

Qualifications

• MD/DO or equivalent is required.
• Completion of an accredited residency in Ophthalmology.
• Licensure by the Ohio Medical Board is required at the time of appointment.

Responsibilities

• Perform clinical duties in Ophthalmology within the University of Cincinnati Residency clinic 4-5 days a week.
• Participate in the operating room, outpatient clinic, and the advising and training of fellows, residents, and medical students.
• Demonstrate a commitment to an academic career through research, teaching, and supporting the department's academic mission.
• Attend departmental and divisional meetings as relevant, including Faculty participation in grand rounds and educational conferences.
