Job summary

Syneos Health is seeking a Clinical Scientist - Ophthalmology for a remote role in the United States. You will collaborate with Medical Directors to develop medical plans, review data, and support trial data integrity across early and late-stage clinical development.

This role entails coordinating with cross-functional teams, preparing safety and data reviews, and contributing to study-level analyses. Ideal candidates will have experience in clinical development, data review, and knowledge of

Qualifications

• Clinical development experience
• Data review and data visualization understanding
• Familiarity with ICH/GCP and regulatory guidelines

Responsibilities

• Works with Medical Director to develop medical plans (Management Plan, Data Review Plan, Eligibility Review Plan).
• Performs regular medical data reviews and analyzes risks and patterns; supports documentation.
• Authors medical data queries and reviews responses with Medical Director.
• Assists in patient profile reviews and study data assessments as needed.
• Partner with Medical Directors for data review and safety review meetings, slide prep as needed.
• Manages project scope, milestones, and deliverables; interfaces with internal teams, customers, and vendors.
• Participates in audits and gains knowledge of protocol designs and disease terminology.
