Job summary

Syneos Health is seeking a Clinical Scientist for Ophthalmology to join our clinical development team. You will collaborate with Medical Directors and cross-functional experts to develop medical plans, review data, and support safety and data integrity across studies.

The role focuses on medical data review, protocol adherence, and coordinating with external experts to advance therapies for eye diseases while delivering high-quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in life sciences or medicine
• Experience with clinical data review
• Knowledge of ICH/GCP standards

Responsibilities

• Develop medical plans with the Medical Director (Medical Management Plan, Medical Data Review Plan, Eligibility Review Plan).
• Perform regular and ad-hoc medical data reviews and data visualization; identify risks and trends.
• Author medical data queries and responses, approve query closures with Medical Director.
• Support patient profiles review and protocol deviation review as needed.
• Collaborate with study team members to identify data integrity and subject safety risks; escalate as needed.
