Syneos Health is seeking a Clinical Scientist specializing in Ophthalmology to support medical data review, study design, and cross-functional collaboration with Medical Directors, Operations and Safety teams.

The role emphasizes scientific input, data interpretation, and planning medical management and data review processes within ophthalmology trials to ensure quality and regulatory compliance across global studies.

Responsibilities

• Works with Medical Director to develop medical plans and data review processes for ophthalmology studies.
• Performs regular and ad-hoc medical review of listings and data visualizations to identify risks and trends.
• Authors medical data queries and responses, and closes queries with Medical Director.
• Assists in patient profiles review and protocol deviation assessments as needed.
• Collaborates with study teams to identify risks to data integrity and subject safety.
