Job summary

Syneos Health is seeking a Clinical Scientist specializing in Ophthalmology to lead medical data review and plan development in ophthalmic trials. You will collaborate with Medical Directors, data managers and external experts to ensure data integrity and compliant study conduct.

Responsibilities include developing medical plans, performing data reviews and preparing Medical Review Summary reports, while ensuring adherence to ICH/GCP and company policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in life sciences or related field.
• Experience in clinical data review preferred.
• Familiarity with ICH/GCP and data privacy.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Medical Director to develop medical plans (Medical Management Plan, Medical Data Review Plan, Eligibility Review Plan).
• Perform regular and ad-hoc medical data review of data listings and visualizations; identify risks and data patterns.
• Authors medical data queries and reviews responses, supports query closure with the Medical Director.
• Assist Medical Director in patient profiles review and scientific review of study data as needed.
• Coordinate with Medical Directors for data review meetings and safety review meetings, including slide preparation.
