Job summary

American Vision Partners seeks a Charge Nurse to supervise nursing care in all clinical areas, coordinating with the ASC Manager/Administrator and medical staff. You will ensure effective patient-care service and staff collaboration to maintain high productivity.

Requirements include an Arizona RN license, 1+ year ophthalmologic nursing and management experience, BSN preferred, and BLS/ACLS timing. Flexible Monday–Friday expected.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree required; BSN preferred.
• Current Arizona RN License.
• 1+ years ophthalmologic nursing experience preferred.
• 1+ years management/charge experience preferred.
• BLS certification required.
• ACLS required within 6 months of hiring.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct nursing care across clinical areas.
• Coordinate patient-care services with ASC Manager/Administrator and medical staff.
• Staffing assignments to ensure adequate coverage.
• Coach and mentor ASC staff.
• Ensure compliance with surgery standards and regulations.
• Deliver discharge instructions and ensure patient continuity of care.
