Qualifications

• Minimum six months of front or back office ophthalmology/optometry experience or equivalent education/experience.

Responsibilities

• Performs visual acuity, tonometry, potential acuity meter, brightness acuity testing, intake, lensometry, keratometry, visual field testing, APD, AR IOL Master, and other basic tests.
• Prepares patients for special testing and procedures; completes forms; assists in minor surgeries; transcribes notes; updates eyeglass prescriptions; performs basic diagnostic testing.
