Morlen Health is seeking a Board Certified or Eligible Ophthalmologist with fellowship training in Pediatric Ophthalmology to join the Central Interstate team in Portland, Oregon. The physician will provide a mix of Pediatric and Comprehensive Ophthalmology with a focus on pediatric care and some adult strabismus, sharing call responsibilities across the team.

This on-site role includes a half-day Tuesday surgery block and weekly Retinopathy of Prematurity rounding at Kaiser Sunnyside Medical

Job description

Morlen Health is currently seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Ophthalmologist with fellowship training in Pediatric Ophthalmology to join the Central Interstate team in Portland, Oregon. This physician will join an integrated and compassionate team of physicians and supportive clinical and administrative staff, providing a mix of Pediatric and Comprehensive Ophthalmology.

The practice offers abundant surgical volume and provides care for a full range of ophthalmologic disorders. This physician will serve as the primary Pediatric Ophthalmologist, with the majority of the patient population consisting of pediatric patients, along with some adult strabismus care and participation in general comprehensive call rotations. The role includes a half-day surgery block on Tuesday mornings and weekly rounding for Retinopathy of Prematurity at the Kaiser Sunnyside Medical Center NICU.

The amount of subspecialty work may vary based on patient and team needs. The practice uses advanced technology and a collaborative care model, with routine exams and refractions supported by Optometry partners. This physician will also serve as the lead for pediatric patients seen by Optometry.

This is an on-site position located in Portland, OR

Your Total Rewards:

The annual salary for this position is $453,200-$546,100 .Actual compensation will be determined based on factors such as an applicant’s skills and qualifications, education and certifications, training, relevant clinical experience, market data, geographic location, internal equity, FTE, and other job-related factors.

• Base salary range: $423,100-$516,000
