Vision NYC, a physician-led ophthalmology practice in Manhattan and Queens, seeks a skilled ophthalmologist to build a busy medical and surgical practice with strong cataract and anterior segment skills.

Fellowship in cornea, anterior segment, or glaucoma is preferred; eligible for NY license and credentialing. Join a team with robust referral networks and advanced diagnostic technologies to deliver exceptional patient care.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Completed an accredited ophthalmology residency program.
• Board certified or board eligible in ophthalmology.
• Eligible for or currently hold an unrestricted New York State medical license.
• Eligible for credentialing with hospitals, surgical facilities, and insurance plans.
• Demonstrate strong clinical judgment and surgical training.
• Excellent communication skills and a warm, patient-centered bedside manner.
• Willing to work at both Manhattan and Queens locations.
• Fellowship training in cornea and external disease, anterior segment surgery, or glaucoma strongly preferred.
• Experience with cataract surgery, premium lens technology, keratoconus, corneal disease, ocular surface disease, glaucoma management, and corneal cross-linking is valuable.

Responsabilités

• Develop a busy medical and surgical ophthalmology practice.
• Treat cataract, glaucoma, cornea, and anterior segment conditions.
• Collaborate with optometrists, staff, and referral network.
• Pursue subspecialty development aligned with training.
