Job summary

Vision NYC is a physician-led ophthalmology practice seeking a Comprehensive Ophthalmologist with cornea, anterior segment, or glaucoma training. The role covers both Manhattan and Queens locations, offering a strong referral network and an established patient base.

The ideal candidate will have fellowship training in cornea and external disease, anterior segment surgery, or glaucoma, with a passion for high-quality patient care and team collaboration.

Qualifications

• Hold an MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Completed an accredited ophthalmology residency program.
• Board certified or board eligible in ophthalmology.
• Eligible for or currently hold an unrestricted New York State medical license.
• Must be able to credential with hospitals, surgical facilities and insurance plans.

Responsibilities

• Develop a busy medical and surgical ophthalmology practice across Manhattan and Queens.
• Treat a broad range of pathology with emphasis on cataract, cornea, anterior segment and glaucoma care.
• Collaborate with optometrists, staff, and referral networks to grow the practice.
