Fairview Health Services is seeking a certified Ophthalmic Technologist to join the Eye Ophthalmology Clinic team at M Health Fairview Riverside Park Plaza Building. Fairview is seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented certified Ophthalmic Technologist to join the Eye Ophthalmology Clinic team at M Health Fairview Riverside Park Plaza Building. In this role, you will support pediatric optometrists and other eye care professionals in providing exceptional care to children and their families. You will assist with patient intake, vision testing, diagnostic procedures, patient education, and clinic operations in a fast-paced, collaborative environment dedicated to improving children's eye health.
Enjoy a consistent work schedule with this 0.8 FTE, benefits-eligible position (64 hours per pay period). Scheduled hours are Monday through Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p. This role offers a predictable schedule with no weekends, holidays, or on-call responsibilities, allowing for a healthy work-life balance while making a meaningful impact on the lives of pediatric patients.
Administers broad range of clinical diagnostic testing, including basic, intermediate and advanced assessment protocols under the direction of an Ophtometrist/Ophthalmologist. Completes ordered patient testing in conjunction with a physician's examination. Responsible for the daily application of the AIDET customer services tools in order to ensure a positive experience for the patient, as measured by clinic metrics. Assists the coordination of the specialty clinic and maintains required company training.
