Qualifications

• Minimal of one year in Ophthalmology.
• Certification through JCAHPO preferred.
• Associates Degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collect patient medical histories and vision measurements.
• Instruct patients on post-operative care and exam expectations.
• Perform visual acuity testing and refractions (manifest) and measure eye pressure (tonometry).
• Measure pupil size/reaction with PERRLA and assess eye movement.
• Assist with corneal imaging, topography and retinal assessments.
• Support in-office procedures and contact lens fitting; ensure a sanitized environment.
