Job summary

EyeCare Partners is seeking a full-time Medical Assistant (Ophthalmic Technician) in Birmingham, MI. The successful candidate will assist in patient care by performing preliminary work-ups and maintaining patient records in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system. An ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED and at least one year of related experience, but experience in the Optometry or Ophthalmology fields is preferred. Responsibilities

• Assist in providing excellent patient care during visits.
• Record patient’s medical history and current medications.

Experience working in the Optometry and/or Ophthalmology field

Ability to grow, adapt, and accept change

Strong fine motor skills

Education

High School Diploma or GED Equivalent

One year of related experience and/or training
