EyeCare Partners’ affiliated practice, Vitreous Retina Macula Specialists of New Jersey, seeks an Ophthalmic Technician/Scribe in Millburn, NJ. The role supports ophthalmologists with patient care, exams, and EMR entries.

Full-time position with travel to Somerset, NJ as needed. Benefits include medical, vision, dental, life insurance, 401k with company match, PTO and holidays, and maternity leave. Open availability is required as shifts vary within clinic hours.

Qualifications

• Hands-on patient care experience is required.
• Eyecare experience is preferred.
• Phlebotomy experience is preferred.
• Background check clearance required.
• Basic computer skills.
• Willingness to travel to Somerset, NJ as needed.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients promptly and maintain a professional attitude.
• Anticipate Physician needs to facilitate clinic flow.
• Record patient medical history and current medications.
• Enter data into EMR accurately & thoroughly.
• Prepare patients for treatments and assist Physicians during exams.
