Job summary

DELAWARE VALLEY VISION ASSOCIATES is seeking a friendly, detail oriented front desk/clinical assistant. You will greet patients, obtain histories, and transcribe results into our EHR as physicians dictate during exams.

You will also document physician fee tickets and help maintain patient confidentiality in a fast-paced ophthalmology practice. You will escort patients, assist physicians by obtaining supplies, perform basic vision tests (acuity, autorefraction, tonometry) as needed, and help with

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors in a prompt, courteous manner.
• Transcribe patient history and visit results into the EHR as dictated.
• Record physician fee tickets in the EHR as physicians dictate.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
• Escort patients to appropriate areas (reception, dilating room, cataract testing).
• Assist physicians and technicians by obtaining supplies during exams.
• Perform basic vision tests (acuity, autorefraction, tonometry) as needed.
• Ensure proper cleaning, sterilization and turnover of exam rooms.
