The Eye Institute of West Florida in Largo, FL is looking for an Ophthalmic Technician to assist ophthalmologists and support staff in delivering high-quality patient care. You will prepare patients for exams, collect histories, and perform tests under supervision, with opportunities to learn and grow in a fast-paced medical office.

No prior experience is required as training will be provided; the position supports travel to other offices as needed and offers a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year of related experience or training.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
• Proficient with EMR systems and Microsoft Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for exams.
• Take medical histories and perform basic vision testing.
• Support doctors and provide excellent patient care.
• Open and close exam rooms; maintain stocking of supplies.
