Responsibilities

  • Performs basic ophthalmic testing procedures, diagnostic testing, administration of medications, and related tasks.
  • Assists with minor procedures and prescription refills under provider direction; guides new staff on related workflows.
  • Documents, educates patients, and handles charge entry; supports onboarding with specialty workflows.
  • Demonstrates critical thinking and works with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
