NVISION Eye Centers is seeking an Ophthalmic Technician to perform pre- and post-operative workups, assist physicians in exams and surgeries, and operate advanced diagnostic equipment. The role emphasizes accurate data capture, patient education, and teamwork with surgeons across multiple centers.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years as an Ophthalmology Technician, LASIK exposure is a plus, and a High School Diploma or equivalent. A strong commitment to exceptional patient experience is required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience as Ophthalmology Technician ideal.
• LASIK experience a plus.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Desire to provide an exceptional patient experience.

Responsibilities

• Completes work up including medical and surgical history and diagnostic testing.
• Assists doctor in exam lane and in surgical procedures.
• Performs auto refractions, topographical mapping, wavefront analysis, lensometry, pachymetry and visual acuities.
• Evaluates pupil size and responses, uses slit lamp, tonometer and eye drops.
• Maintains equipment and supplies, supports LASIK suite.
