Job summary

NVISION Eye Centers in the United States is seeking a Certified Surgical Tech to support surgical procedures and pre/post-op workflows. You will obtain patient history, perform screenings, and assist in updating outcome data. The role requires maintaining OR equipment, sterilization, logs, and liaison with Facility Manager.

Experience in LASIK or ophthalmology is a plus; a high school diploma is required. Prior ASC or hospital experience is preferred for this full-time on-site position.

Qualifications

• Certified Surgical Tech with one year of ASC or hospital experience.
• Experience in LASIK/Ophthalmology field is a plus.
• High School Diploma or equivalent (required).

Responsibilities

• Inspect and maintain all OR equipment in good working order.
• Inspect, clean, sterilize, and maintain all instruments.
• Maintain equipment checklists prior to each day’s cases.
• Maintain sterility logs for each day’s cases.
• Assist Facility Manager in maintaining equipment manuals and instrument lists.
• Assist Circulating RNs to restock OR cabinets and report low stock.
• Maintain labels on instrument cabinets and shelves.
