Job summary

Emplify Health seeks an Ophthalmic Technician II to join the La Crosse clinic. You will assist optometrists, perform ophthalmic tests, and help maintain smooth clinic operations while delivering excellent patient care.

The role requires COA and COT certifications (JCAHPO) with a 18-month window to obtain them, and 3–4 years of related experience, including one year as a COA/ophthalmic assistant. Salary starts at $24.36/hour with strong benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3-4 years relevant work experience including one year as a COA with Ophthalmologist or Optometrist.
• COA and COT certifications by JCAHPO required; must obtain within 18 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist optometrists in diagnostic tests and patient care.
• Perform various ophthalmic diagnostic procedures to support clinic workflow.
• Provide a quality optical experience to patients and guests.
