AVP•SEES Group is seeking an Ophthalmic Technician I to support the clinical team with high-quality patient care, diagnostic testing, and procedures. The role requires excellent customer service, strong communication, and the ability to work independently while protecting patient confidentiality.

The ideal candidate will document patient history, perform refractions, administer eye drops, and assist with pre-operative steps across multiple office locations.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years ophthalmic or optometric technician experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise protocols.
• Flexibility to travel between multiple locations as needed.

Responsabilités

• Obtain and document patient history with accuracy.
• Determine visual acuity and perform automated refraction.
• Administer eye drops and measure intraocular pressure (tonometry).
• Prepare patients for pre-operative procedures and maintain equipment.
• Enter data into EMR and provide direct patient services.
• Travel to various office locations as required; dependable transportation is necessary.
