Georgia Eye Partners is a specialty eye care practice in Metro Atlanta, comprising ophthalmologists and optometrists dedicated to providing patients with high-quality medical and surgical eye care. Our services include general eye care, complex surgical procedures such as cataracts, glaucoma, corneal disease, refractive surgeries like LASIK, oculoplastic surgery, and laser aesthetic procedures through OPAL Aesthetics.

We are hiring an Ophthalmic Technician to support a high-volume ophthalmic practice focused on delivering compassionate, quality care to patients requiring comprehensive eye services.

This position requires excellent customer service, interpersonal, and communication skills, along with a degree of independent decision-making.

Ophthalmic skills include:

• Obtaining and documenting patient history
• Determining visual acuity
• Performing automated refraction
• Administering eye drops, ointments, and irrigating solutions as ordered by physicians
• Performing office duties and clinical tasks, including data entry into EMR
• Providing patient services
• Maintaining equipment and instruments
• Dependable transportation and flexibility to travel to various office locations
• Attention to detail and confidentiality
• Willingness to seek instruction in unfamiliar areas
• Recognizing inconsistencies in clinical settings

Education:

• Graduation from an accredited high school
