Job summary

Mid Atlantic Retina is seeking an ophthalmic technician to join our clinical team. You will take patient histories in the EMR, perform vision tests, and prepare patients for injections while assisting physicians throughout examinations.

You will also administer eye drops, conduct imaging, and complete charting or scribing tasks as part of a busy ophthalmology practice committed to quality care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 1 year healthcare experience or equivalent medical training desired (but not required).
• Desire to work with patients.

Responsibilities

• Take patient histories in the EMR system.
• Do vision exams.
• Prep patients for injections.
• Administer eye drops.
• Perform imaging tests.
• Complete charting, scribing and other tasks.
