Mid Atlantic Retina is seeking an ophthalmic technician to take patient histories in the EMR, perform vision exams, prep patients for injections, administer drops and run imaging tests. You will complete charting, act as scribe and support physicians while rotating between exam rooms.

A high school diploma or GED and interest in patient care are required; health care experience is a plus. This full-time role offers a competitive benefits package and a path for growth within a busy retina

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 1 year health care experience or equivalent medical training desired (but not required).
• Desire to work with patients.

Responsabilités

• Take patient histories in the EMR system, perform vision exams, prep patients for injections, administer drops, perform imaging tests, complete charting, scribing and other tasks.
• Assist physicians and rotate assignments with other staff, providing support in exam rooms and imaging areas.
