Job summary

Mid Atlantic Retina is seeking an ophthalmic technician to assist clinicians with patient histories, vision testing and imaging, while preparing patients for injections and maintaining accurate charting in the EMR system.

You will perform imaging, administer eye drops, document findings and support scribing duties, contributing to efficient patient flow and care delivery. Training and growth opportunities are provided within a dynamic retina practice.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1 year health care experience or equivalent medical training desired (but not required).
• Desire to work with patients.

Responsibilities

• Take patient histories in the EMR system and perform vision exams.
• Prepare patients for injections, administer drops and perform imaging tests.
• Complete charting, scribing and other assigned tasks.
