Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for eye examinations by communicating features and benefits of preliminary testing procedures.
• Perform all preliminary tests and any doctor-requested tests for all patients.
• Assist optometrist and ophthalmologist with patient procedures.
• Coordinate patient scheduling and monitor patient flow within the office, communicating delays as needed.
• Prepare exam room by cleaning instruments and maintaining inventory of medications and supplies.
• Provide a safe, clean, organized and inviting environment for patients and staff.
• Perform other duties as determined by the office manager or team lead and doctors.
