Job summary

Quigley Eye Specialists, an affiliate of Eye Health America, is seeking an experienced ophthalmic technician to assist doctors in eye examinations, gather medical records, perform vision tests, and help maintain patient flow. This full-time position offers a $1,500 sign-on bonus paid in installments and travel to different clinic locations as needed.

The role requires willingness to travel, two years of related experience or certification, and training provided on hire.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Active and valid Driver’s License.
• Two years of work experience and/or Ophthalmic Assistant Certification preferred.
• Adequate training will be provided upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Gathering medical records and patient information
• Taking ocular measurements, both anatomical and functional
• Administering or preparing medications
• Providing eye care and contact lens information to the patient
• Maintaining and cleaning ophthalmic instruments
• Assisting the doctors in basic procedures
