Job summary

Comprehensive EyeCare Partners, a leading vision care management organization, seeks an Ophthalmic Technician to assist ophthalmologists in diagnosis and treatment. You will support specialized eye exams, patient flow, and a range of diagnostic tests across multiple sites, with opportunities for ongoing education and professional growth.

Requirements include at least one year as an ophthalmic technician and customer-facing experience.

Qualifications

• One year experience as an ophthalmic technician.
• One year experience in a customer facing position preferred.
• Certified Ophthalmic Assistant (COA) certification preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform specialized eye exam testing and streamline patient flow.
• Assist with diagnostic tests (Visual fields, OCT, Corneal Topography, Venipuncture).
• Assist with inventory of ophthalmic supplies, including pharmaceuticals and instruments.
• Provide phone support for prescription refills as authorized by the physician.
• Adhere to HIPAA guidelines to maintain patient confidentiality and privacy.
• May perform other duties as necessary.
