Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years ophthalmology technician experience preferred.
• COA/COT certification preferred.
• Bilingual Spanish/English preferred.
• Experience with EHR systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient workups including medical and surgical history and diagnostic testing.
• Assist in procedures and prepare patients for laser procedures.
• Triage calls and document in patient charts.
• Ensure HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality.
• Maintain back-office inventory and assist front office as needed.
