An Ophthalmic technician's role is to do the beginning work up and testing with the patient. They also work directly with the doctors during the exam to meet those patient's needs. Technicians must be self-motivated, detail oriented and willing to grow with our busy practice. We Offer Hands on training with cutting edge technology. Responsibilities

• Taking patient health history
• Full patient work ups, including refractions
• Charting in our EHR system
• Working with the doctors in and out of the exams rooms
• Thoroughly scribing exams discussions
• Accurately charting notes
• Coding exams
• Sending medications
• Correctly and effectively using diagnostic testing equipment
