New Braunfels Vision Center is seeking a full-time ophthalmic technician in Texas. The role emphasizes teamwork, efficiency and high-quality patient care in a fast-paced clinic.

Ideal candidates may have ophthalmic certification and experience, but both are not required. Schedule runs Monday through Friday 8am–5pm, with a potential Saturday every other month.

New Braunfels Vision Center opened in 1997 to serve the needs of families in the Comal County region. Patients can have a thorough annual eye exam to update their eye-wear and determine the health of their eyes.

Overview:

New Braunfels Vision Center is looking for a full time ophthalmic technician. We are a fast pace work environment which requires team work, efficiency, multitasking, great work ethic, punctuality, positive attitude, great communication and more.

• Provide excellent patient care
• Attentive to the patient’s needs
• Take initiative
• Help with patient exams in clinic
• Record patient information into charts

Qualifications:

• Ophthalmic certification preferred but not required.

Experience:

• Ophthalmic experience preferred but not required.

Requirements:

• Hours of work are Monday through Friday 8am-5pm (to be discussed)
• May need to work one Saturday every other month (to be discussed)
